Bhubaneswar: Former Member of Parliament from Nabarangpur and Senior Congress leader Pradeep Majhi will formally join the Biju Janata Dal tomorrow. He will join the BJD along with a large number of supporters belonging to the undivided Koraput district. Pradeep has a mass following in the in the area.
Pradeep had resigned from the Congress on 22nd October stating that the party is in no position to serve the people of Odisha and there is little hope for its revival in the state. He praised Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for his developmental activities and providing a strong and stable government in the state.
He also said that, it has become difficult for him to serve the people of his area by being in the Congress. The Biju Janata Dal will help him in serving the people better.
