Puri Admin Imposes Restrictions on Visit of Habisyalis to Pilgrim City for Kartika Brata

Puri: In view of prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation, the Puri district administration has imposed restriction on the visit of Habisyalis to the pilgrim city.

The administration has requested the Habisyalis not to visit the pilgrim city to observe “Kartika Brata’.

Kartika Brata is observed for the whole month of Kartika. A large number of pilgrims (particularly widows and women) visit Puri to serve Lord Jagannath and observe this ritual.
