Bhubaneswar: Sameer Mohanty has been elected as President of Odisha unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Mohanty was elected unanimously for the top party post.
The nomination process for the election was held in the presence of party observers for organisational polls, Narendra Singh Tomar and Rajiv Pratap Rudy.
Prior to this, Mohanty was Vice President of BJP state unit from 2014.
He has replaced Basanta Kumar Panda.
