Bhawanipatna: In a tragic road accident, six persons of a family including two children, died after the car they were travelling in rammed into a truck near Jaring in Odisha’s Kalahandi district on Wednesday, media reports stated.
The family was returning to their village Khurselguda under Junagarh block after deboarding a train from Visakhapatnam to Kesinga, when the care they were travelling in had a head-on collision with a truck near Jaring on NH-26 late last night, reports said.
Two of the family members died on the spot and four others lost lives in the hospital while undergoing treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Jagannath Behera, Asutosh Behera, Binayak Behera, Nima Behera and two children, reports added.
