Bhubaneswar: With the second wave of Covid-19 infections gripping various states of the country, Odisha today reported 1282 new cases. While Sundargarh reported 224 new cases Khordha District reported 192 new Covid infections.
Kalahandi District reported 108 cases and Sambalpur and Nuapada each reported 82 cases. Out of these new infections 755 are from quarantine and 527 are local contacts.
With this, the total number of infections in the State stand at 346808 of which 338890 have recovered. While the number of active cases stands at 5941, 228 persons have recovered in the last 24 hours.
