Subarnapur: The district administration of Subarnapur led by collector Monisha Banerjee has celebrated the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi with much fanfare. On the auspicious occasion, the district administration has inaugurated a new statue of Mahatma Gandhi.
The occasion was followed by prayer meeting and mass cleaning activities in the city. All district offices and employees took part in the cleaning activities. On this occasion, Kartang village in Binica block is declared as a folk art village and dedicated to the people of the village.
