Rourkela: A junior engineer of Western Electricity Supply Company of Odisha (WESCO) in Sundargarh district was caught red-handed while accepting bribe.
The vigilance sleuths caught Jasobanta Narayan Deo, Junior Manager (JE) WESCO Subdega Section in Sundargarh district red-handed for demanding and accepting illegal gratification of Rs.15000 from Sanjib Dungdung of Mansidpada in the district in order to install a new transformer in the village.
The entire bribe money has been recovered and seized by the vigilance sleuths.
The office chamber of the accused JE and his rented residential house at Sundargarh Town are being searched on DA angle, the vigilance department said.
