Bhubaneswar: In a significant development, three senior Odisha cadre IPS officers have been elevated to Director General of Police (DGP) rank.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievances Department, 1987-batch Odisha cadre IPS Surendra Panwar along with Satyajit Mohanty and Manoj K Chhabra of 1988 batch have been promoted to the DGP rank.
The place of posting of the Mohanty and Chhabra shall be decided by the Home Department, the notification stated.
