Bhubaneswar: The implementation of Mo Sarkar programme has started to bear fruits with positive outcomes as 192 Aahaar Centres and central kitchens in Odisha have received ISO certificate for providing quality food.
A total of 158 Aahaar Centres and 34 central kitchens are now ISO certified in Odisha.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has lauded the achievement.
Patnaik, in his twitter handle wrote “Our drive to bring affordable & quality meals to the needy in urban areas registered a major achievement with all 158 #AAHAR Kendras & 34 Central Kitchens getting #ISO certified. Kudos to the team from @HUDDeptOdisha, Collectors & Industry partners who made this happen.”

Notably under Mo Sarkar initiative, the officials have been visiting the Aahaar Centres and central kitchens to inspect the quality.
The Aahaar and central kitchen systems were launched in the state to provide meal at Rs 5 and cooked midday meals in schools respectively.
