Puri: In a bizarre incident, the Kumbharpada police in Puri town on Friday detained two persons for allegedly entering into the Gundicha Temple here for impersonating as servitors.
The arrested have been identified as residents of Kumbharpada and Markandeswar Sahi localities in Puri town.
According to reports the duo, impersonating as servitors, had entered into the temple in the morning and had darshan of the Trinity on Adapa Mandap during Mangala Arati.
However, some servitors guessed that duo are fake servitors and opposed the entry of the duo. Subsequently Kumbharpada police were informed about the incident.
The interrogation of the dup is going on till the report last came in.
