New Delhi: Two biggest stalwarts of Indian industry on one stage – one touching the feet of another for blessings and the audience is mesmerized with the gesture. It happened last Tuesday in a program TiECon organised by the Indus Entrepreneurs in Mumbai. Infosys co-founder N R Narayana Murty sought the blessings of Tata Sons Chairman emeritus Ratan Tata by touching his feet on the stage.
The scene was cherished by the guests present on the occasion and the video went viral on the social media immediately. Two biggest personalities of Indian business world are on the same stage and their gesture is a lifetime time opportunity to see.
Reacting to the incident, Ratan Tata posted the video on instagram and wrote “It was an honour to be awarded by TIEcon at the hands of a great friend Mr Narayana Murthy. I am truly humbled.”
Both Narayana Murty and Ratan Tata are well known for their humble behavior. Murty presented the life time achievement award to Ratan Tata for his outstanding contribution to Indian Industry. After giving away the honour to Tata, Murthy bent down, touched Tata’s feet and sought blessing from the Tata Group’s chairman emeritus.
