With 4209 New Positive Cases and 9 Deaths, Odisha’s COVID-19 Tally Mounts to 175550

Bhubaneswar: The total number of coronavirus infections in Odisha mounted to 175550 on Saturday with the addition of 4209 fresh positive cases and nine fatalities in the last 24 hours, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.

While the active cases in the State stand at 37239, as many as 137567 patients have recovered from the virus so far.

The COVID-19 death toll in Odisha reached 691 after nine patients succumbed to the disease while under treatment in hospitals in the last 24 hours, the Health Department said.

Of the new cases, as many as 2441 cases are quarantine and the rest 1768 are the local contacts.
