With Record Daily Spike of 77,266 New Cases, India’s COVID-19 Caseload Rises to 33,87,501

New Delhi: India’s Coronavirus caseload rose to 33,87,501 with the record daily spike of 77,266 new positive cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the Union Ministry said.

The COVID-19 death toll jumped to 61,529 as 1,057 more patients succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours.

The Health Ministry said the country’s coronavirus active cases now stand at 7,42,023 and recoveries at 25,83,948.

Meanwhile, India conducted more than 9 lakh COVID-19 tests each day for the second consecutive day.
