Bhubaneswar: Coming down heavily on the Center’s dillydallying on withdrawal of NMA draft By-laws for the Ekamra Kshetra, Odisha Law Minister Pratap Jena has asked the Center to immediately withdraw it and not keep it on hold.
This comes after Union Culture Minister Prahallad Singh Patel wrote a letter to Union Minister Pratap Sarangi that the by-laws have been put on hold.
In his letter the Culture Minister wrote that the concerned officials have been directed to keep on hold the draft by-laws and a final decision will be taken after detailed discussions with all stakeholders.
Pratap Jena said, “The bye-laws are creating hindrance for the developmental works around the Lingaraj Temple and the same should be withdrawn immediately without delay.”
