Naveen Lauds Hard Work of Odisha Teams in Relief & Restoration Work in West Bengal

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today lauded the hard work of the fire personnel and ODRAF members of Odisha in the relief and restoration work in the cyclone Amphan-hit West Bengal.

“Heartening to see Odisha fire and ODRAF teams relentlessly working in tandem with West Bengal officials to restore road connectivity in the cyclone Amphan ravaged areas”, the CM tweeted.

Sharing a video on it, the CM appreciated the commitment of the Odisha teams during this unprecedented crisis and said Odisha is proud of them.

Earlier, Naveen said Odisha will provide all possible assistance to neighbouring West Bengal for relief and rescue work in the aftermath of Cyclone Amphan.

With the instruction of the Chief Minister, a strong team of five hundred members consisting of three hounded fire personnel and 200 ODRAF members have been sent to West Bengal to assist the neighbouring state.

Naveen had also spoken to West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and offered assistance to the flood-ravaged state.

He assured all possible support to West Bengal in terms of men and material to overcome this critical situation.
