Budget Session: BJD to Attend President’s Address in Parliament on Friday

New Delhi: The rulling Biju Janata Dal has decided to present in the president’s address to the joint sitting of both houses Parliament on the first day of Budget session beginning from Friday.

BJD will raise all issues on the floor of both houses of Parliament, said, Dr Sasmit Petra, Chief whip of the party.

The party’s decision has been seen as a
departure of the stand taken by the 16 opposition parties, including the Congress and TMC to boycott the president’s address.

It may be noted that President Ram Nath Kovind will address the joint sitting of the two Houses of Parliament on Friday.
