Barabati ODI: India, WI Teams Arrive Bhubanrswar Amid Tight Security

Bhubaneswar/Cuttack: The cricket fever is slowly gripping the twin city as both the Indian and the West Indies cricket teams have arrived at the Biju Patnaik International Airport at around 1 pm today and escorted to the hotel amid tight security.

Meanwhile, the Commissionerate Police have made elaborate security arrangements in the Twin Cities for the Barabati ODI.

According to reports, West Indies will go for nets at 9 am tomorrow and India will go for practice at around 1 pm tomorrow.

Arrangements for frequent patrolling and checking in all roads leading to Barabati stadium have been made.

Besides, police officers and police force have been deployed in the inner and outer perimeter of the stadium.

According to reports, at least 63 platoons of the police force and a Rapid Action Force contingent comprising 300 officers have been deployed to maintain law and order situation till the high profile match ends.

Notably, the one-day match between India and West Indies will be held on December 22.
