Bhubaeswar: Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy and 5T Secretary V K Pandian today reviewed the Covid preparedness in Keonjhar district and inspected the 200 bedded Covid-19 hospital.
The standalone hospital is being set up by Utkal Hospitals and is funded by the District Mineral Fund. During the visit to the district, they interacted with the officials of district administration including Collector Ashish Thakare and took stock of the preparations.
While reviewing various issues, the Chief Secretary and 5T Secretary stressed mainly upon three major areas i.e., taking care of distressed people, thrust on activating MGNREGS work and maintaining social distancing in all the activities without failure. The officials also laid emphasis on implementation of the lockdown in the district.
