Puri: A fake COVID testing laboratory was sealed in Kakatpur area in Odisha’s Puri district on Friday.
The Kakatpur police busted the unauthorized COVID testing laboratory being run by one Prakash Dash for the last few weeks.
Dash was arrested for issuing fake and unauthorized COVID positive and negative reports to the people, the police said.
The police also seized two COVID antigen test kits and other incriminating documents during the raid at the lab.
The investigation is underway to find out involvement of other co-accused persons in the racket, the police added.
