Farmers’ Protest: MHA Suspends Internet Services across Several Delhi Borders

New Delhi: In view of ongoing farmers’ protest against the three agriculture laws, the Union Home Ministry has temporarily suspended internet services across several Delhi borders and their adjoining areas.

The internet services have been suspended in Singhu, Ghazipur, and Tikri and their adjoining areas from 11 pm of Jan 29 to 11 pm of Jan 31, to ‘maintain public safety and averting public emergency’, the MHA said.

Earlier, the Haryana government had suspended mobile internet services in 14 more districts of the state till 5 pm of January 30 to prevent any disturbance of peace and public order.
