India Reports 29,398 Fresh Positive Cases of COVID-19, Tally Inches Closer to 98 Lakh

New Delhi: India’s Covid-19 caseload reached 97,96,770 with 29,398 fresh cases being reported in a day, according to the Union Health Ministry data on Friday.

The death toll has jumped to 1,42,186 with 414 new deaths being reported in the last 24 hours.

Total recoveries surged to 92,90,834 with 37,528 new discharges in the last 24 hours.
Currently, there are 3,63,749 active cases in the country.
