Key Accused in Nayagarh Pari Murder Case A Minor, Says POCSO Court, Case To Be Transferred to Juvenile Justice Board

Nayagarh: In a major development into the Pari murder case in Nayagarh disrict, the POCSO court today said that the accused is a minor and will be treated as the same.

After the development, the case will be transferred to Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) for further investigation.

Hearing a petition filed by the parents of accused Saroj Sethy claiming that he was a minor on the day of the incident, the court passed this order.

The court also rejected the Special Investigation Team’s (SIT) appeal for the narco analysis test of the accused.
