Berhampur: The initiative of the Ganjam District administration to go for door to door health screening of people is progressing well with the active support of the Swacha Sathis and Supervisors.

The dedicated teams are on the ground and checking for Oxygen levels of the people along with temperature and enquiring other health issues. In Hinjilicut, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s constituency, these teams can be seen visiting house to house with pulse oxymeters to check the oxygen levels of the common men and women. With proper precautions such as disposable hand gloves, sanitisers and masks, the mostly women Swacha Sathis are doing a great job. Any person who is found to be showing symptoms of Covid or cough or cold, they are being referred for further treatment.
Besides oxygen levels, these members are also checking the temperature and influenza-like symptoms. The main aim is to identify the Covid symptomatic and asymptomatic people with low saturation level early and to provide treatment to control deaths. People in Hinjilicut are happy today as they don’t have to go anywhere to check their oxygen levels.
