Bhubaneswar: In a bid to promote tourism and emerge as tourist destination of India, the Odisha Government on Saturday decided to organise Marine Drive Eco Retreat festival near Konark from December 14 to January 14.
A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here.
The Government will provide various facilities that include cultural programme, food festival, 3D mapping, adventure sports and water sports during the month-long festival to attract foreign tourist, a release stated.
A temporary luxury tent cottage with 50 rooms will also be set up to accommodate tourists.
The Chief Minister asked the concerned officials to give their best to make the Marine Drive Eco Retreat festival a success.
