Bhubaneswar: Odish Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today reviewed the Covid-19 situation in the State and appealed all to remain alert for next two months in fight aginat Covid-19.
The second wave of Covid-19 has already hit Europe and England. Few countries have also imposed lockdown. In this scenario, we need to remain more vigilant, Patnaik said.
Odisha has managed to combat the disease successfully as only 2000 active cases are there at present,” Patnaik added.
Speaking on the vaccination drive, he said, the State will effectively carryout the mass vaccination drive.
He, however, stressed on the awareness drive to remove doubts on vaccine from the minds of people.
“Vaccination will be the largest drive of the year and we are fully prepared for it,” CM said.
Patnaik further thanked the health workers, doctors and Covid warriors for their immense contribution in fight against the pandemic.
Lauding the efforts of the health workers, Patnaik further said, “We were able to pass the difficult stage of severe infection for relentless effort of all Covid warriors.”
