Odisha Govt Sends Medical Team, Ambulances to Train Accident Spot

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has sent a team of doctors and ambulances to the train accident spot in Balasore district.

A team of doctors SCB MCH, Cuttack has been dispatched to the accident site to provide treatment to the injured, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.

Apart from this, 50 doctors have also been sent from other districts. About 50 ambulances have also been mobilized to site.

The CDMO and his team are on the site, directing ambulances and first aid, the Health Department said.

Private hospitals in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack are also ready to receive patients, it added.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik reviewed the situation from the control room opened at the SRC office.
