Odisha Govt Takes Major Step in Fight against Covid-19, Deploys Additional 30 Doctors in Ganjam

Bhubaneswar: In a major step in the fight against COVID-19, the Odisha Government has decided to deploy as many as 30 medical officers in Ganjam district for the management of the COVID-19 situation.

“In view of outbreak of COVID-19, the following medical offices are hereby deployed to DHH Ganjam in exigencies of public interest with immediate effect”, the Health and Family Welfare Department said in an order.

“Besides, eight more medical officers, who have joined in the Health Department on completion of their PG, have been relieved today from the Department and posted to DHH Ganjam in view of outbreak of COVID-19”, it added.
