Odisha May Witness Peak of COVID-19 by April End or First Week of May

Bhubaneswar: Odisha is likely to witness peak of coronavirus by the end of this month or first week of May.

This has been predicted by Director of Medical Education and Training Dr CBK Mohanty.
However, the Odisha Government is fully prepared to tackle the pandemic, he said.
He further said that there is no scarcity of medical and oxygen in the State.

Besides, several government and private companies are ramping up the oxygen production, he added.

There are 71 COVID-19 hospitals in the State, of which 31 are currently functioning, he said.
