Odisha Registers 234 Fresh COVID-19 Positive Cases

Bhubaneswar: As many as 234 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, said the Information and Public Relations Department on Monday.

Of the new cases reported from 24 districts, 136 cases have been found from different quarantine centres and the rest 98 are local contact cases.

Angul district has registered the highest number of 36 cases followed by Sundargarh district (28) and Khordha district (25).

With this, the coronavirus caseload in the State jumped to 3,28,738.

The number of total active cases stands at 2,753 and recovered cases at 3,24,068.
