Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Thursday set up a State Level Control Room for reporting bird flu related information or any unusual mortality of birds occurring in flocks.
The control room has been set up by the Fisheries & Animal Resources Development Department.

Earlier on Wednesday, Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra reviewed the possible bird flu scenario in the State and informed that there has been no outbreak of the disease in Odisha.
The State Government has urged the officials to remain alert and intensify surveillance activities in view of bird flu cases in other States.
