Odisha To have 12 Border Check Points For Movement of Stranded People

Bhubaneswar: In order to facilitate smooth movement of stranded people who are returning to Odisha, the government will set up 12 Border Check Points in the border areas of the state. A detailed SOP has also been issued by the SRC for management of the Check Points.

The Special Relief Commissioner has written a letter in this regard to all District Collectors, Municipal Commissioners, Commissioner of Police-Bhubaneswar-Cuttack and all Superintendents of Police.

The check points will be set up at 1. Biramitrapur, Sundergarh, 2. Champua, Keonjhar, 3. Chandili, Koraput, 4. Girisola, GanJam 5. Jamsola, Mayurbhanj 6. Kanktora, Jharsuguda 7. Kerada, Rayagada 8. Khariar Road, Nuapada 9. Laxman Nath, Balasore 10. Luharchati, Bargarh 11. Motu, Malkanagiri and 12.Sunki, Koraput.
