Bhubaneswar: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has proposed to make substancial investments in five port cities and make them the economic hubs of the country. The five major fishing harbours – Kochi, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Paradip and Petuaghat will see enhanced investment activities.
“I am proposing substantial investments in the development of modern fishing harbours and fish landing centers. Five major fishing harbours – Kochi, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Paradip and Petuaghat will be developed as hubs for economic activities: the Finance Minister Said during her Budget speech.
