Sexual Assault Prime Motive Behind Murder of Minor Girl in Nayagarh, Says Arun Bothra

Bhubaneswar: Sexual assault was the prime motive behind the murder of the minor girl in Nayagarh district, said Arun Bothra, chief of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Odisha Crime Branch.

The SIT has enough evidence against the person who has been arrested from Jadupur village on Sunday in connection with murder of the five-year girl, Bothra said.

The arrested person is the prime accused, the SIT chief said while adding that investigation is on to find if there is involvement of more persons in the case.
