Tamil Magazine Lauds Out of Box Naveen, Terms Him Torchbearer during COVID Darkness

Bhubaneswar: Can we fight Corona Virus? Can we overcome the Challenge? Questions like theses are common at a time when people in thousands are dying and millions being affected by the deadly disease in the whole world. And we get the answers to these questions from the times acts of the Odisha Government. The steps Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is taking today are being adapted by the nation tomorrow.

The efforts of the state government and the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in fighting the Coronavirus are commended by everybody. First it was the Rajasthan newspaper and now the Tamil weekly Junior Vikatan louds the efforts by placing Naveen on the cover page.

When the country was in Janata Curfew, Naveen ordered for seven days of lockdown in the state keeping in view the situation. And now when the center is mulling to extend the lockdown in the country from April 15th, the Odisha government has already implemented the lockdown extension in the state. Situation has arisen that the center will definitely extend the lockdown after April 14th and follow Naveen’s decision.

While the number of Corona affected people in the state has not yet crossed 50, the State government has made arrangements for treatment of more than 300 times of the figure in the special Covid Hospitals set up. Likewise, his decision to give three months advance salary to healthcare professionals and bringing amendments to the Epidemic Act, Naveen leads others. It is not limited to Tamilnadu or Rajasthan, all over the world, Naveen has been a talking point for his foresightedness and timely action. His leadership has been appreciated in not just India but the whole world.
