War Against COVID-19: Selfies to Ensure Monitoring of Home Quarantine in Ganjam

Berhampur: Ganjam district collector Vijay Amruta Kulange has come up with yet another innovative measure to ensure effective monitoring of those who are under home quarantine for suspected Coronavirus.

Kulange has directed all the field functionaries including AWW, ANM, ASHA workers and PEOs to capture selfie at the time of their visit to the persons under self quarantine mode and store it in a folder on a day to day basis for documentation.

He has further directed the Deputy Commissioner, BeMC, Berhampur, all Block Development Officers, all Executive Officers of Urban Local Bodies to ensure this practice without fail.

Though 4 COVID-19 positive cases have been reported from the state so far, nobody from Ganjam district has tested positive for the deadly disease.
