Bhubaneswar: The BJP today named Sanat Gadtia as its candidate for the by-poll to Bijepur Assembly constituency in Bargarh district.
Gadtia had unsuccessfully contested the 2019 Assembly Elections as a nominee of the BJP from the very constituency.
Earlier, the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) had announced Rita Sahu as the party candidate for the upcoming by-poll to be held on October 21.
Dillip Kumar Panda will be contesting the election as Congress candidate.
