COVID-19 Vaccination Drive: Odisha Increases Session Sites, 30161 Worriers Take Vaccine on Day-2

Bhubaneswar: In a bid to widespread the ongoing vaccination drive, The Odisha Government has increased the number of session sites to 380 in the State.

Speaking to media, Bijay Panigrahi, Director of Health and Family Welfare department said,
“We will complete the vaccination of 1.78 lakh health workers by January 25 starting from today.

According to Health Department release, a total of 380 sessions were planned and vaccination went on smoothly. Till 6 pm, 30,161 health care worker beneficiaries had been vaccinated, which turns out to be 95 % of the total listed beneficiaries for today.

Odisha has received 4.08 lakh doses of Covishield vaccine and 20,000 doses of Covaxin vaccine in the first phase.
