Bargarh: Odisha Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy and 5T Secretary VK Pandian today reviewed the preparedness of the Bargarh district administration in dealing with the corona pandemic and enforcement of lockdown.
The Chief Secretary and 5T Secretaries visited the government COVID hospital located in MCH building and reviewed the progress of work. Bargarh Collector Jyotiranjan Padhan and other officials were present on the occasion. The hospital will provide free treatment to COVID patients.
The senior officials urged the district administration to facilitate the agricultural activities including movement of agricultural produce and speedy implementation of MGNREGA.
They also discussed with the Collector about issues relating to the lockdown and migrant workers.
Earlier today, the Chief Secretary and 5T Secretary visited Balangir district to review COVID-19 preparedness.
