Fifth-phase of D2D Heath Screening Begins in Urban Areas of Ganjam

Berhampur: The Ganjam district administration has started the fifth phase of mass health screening in all urban areas in the district as part of the measures to identify COVID-19 symptomatic cases.

The door-to-door health screening in the urban areas will continue for four days, informed Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange.

As many as 200 medical teams including 50 teams in Berhampur Municipal Corporation area have been engaged to conduct the health screening of the people.

The mega health screening programme aims at identifying new cases in urban areas in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19, the Collector said.

He also urged the people not to hide the symptoms and cooperate the medical teams.
