Berhampur: Berhampur MLA Bikram Panda has once again showed that when it comes helping the needy, he will be the last person to deny. Be it providing financial assistance to poor people or helping the marginalized get their grievances solved, Panda has been at the forefront. Another instance of his humanity came to light when he helped perform the last rites of a poor widow who died due to multiple health issues.
After getting information about the plight of the poor family who were unable to perform the last rites of one widow Kabita Bhuyan of Haridakhandi area in Berhampur, Bikram Panda reached the spot and made all efforts to arrange the last rites. With the help of Odisha Mo Parivar members, the last rites were performed.
The presence of the MLA at the area has showed his true humanity and the dedication of Biju Mo Parivar members to help the society. Bikram Panda is also the general secretary in charge of Odisha Mo Parivar. Panda’s help has been well appreciated by the people.
Odisha Mo Parivar members have been at the forefront during this pandemic period, helping the needy with financial support, food, shelter and blood donation. Recently, members of Mo Parivar helped thousands of migrant laborers with food, grocery, shelter, and transport facilities to reach their homes safely. A number of Blood Donation camps are also being organised to collect blood for the medicals which are running short due to the pandemic.
