Ganjam: Defying Covid-19 Guidelines, People in Polosara Organize Temple Function with Large Congregation

Berhampur: At a time when Ganjam district tops the Coronavirus table and the district administration is making all out efforts to curb the virus, a religious function organized in Ganjam’s Polosora block makes mockery of covid-19 guidelines.

According to reports, on July 6 villagers of Mardarajpur of Ja. Thengapadar panchayat under Polasara block organised an inauguration function of Lord Hanuman temple defying all Covid-19 guidelines.

The visuals of the same had gone viral in the social media showing congregation of over 500 people.

The Naib Sarpanch Krushnachandra Jena has allegedly organised the huge ceremony and defying norms.
