Odisha CM Deputes Senior IAS Officers to Monitor Flood Situation

Bhubaneswar: In the wake flood situation caused by heavy rain in many parts of the State, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today deputed as many as six senior IAS officers to monitor the flood situation.

While Hemant Sharma has been given the charge of Kendrapara, Secretary Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Deoranjan Kumar Singh will monitor the flood situation in Cuttack district.

Similarly, Vishal Dev will look after Balasore district and Bishnupada Sethi has been given the charge of Bhadrak district to monitor the flood situation.

While, VV Yadav will monitor Jajpur district, Satyabrata Sahu will monitor flood situation in Jagatsinghpur district.
