Chatrapur: In the wake of ongoing strict enforcement of shut down in the Ganjam district, the Odisha Director General of Police (DGP) Abhay today visited the district and reviewed the ground situation in the district.
During the review, DGP has discussed with the DIG, Southern Range, Satyabrata Bhoi, Superintendent of Police, Ganjam, Brijesh Ray and , Superintendent of Police, Berhampur, Pinak Mishra, in detail on the maintaining strict enforcement of Shutdown and Covid-19 situation of the district.
DGP appealed police personnel to maintain social distance and to remain cautious following all the guidelines of Covid-19.
He also praises the police personnel for their hard work during pandemic. He further appealed people to cooperate with the police while they are discharging their duty.
DGP’s visit to the district will definitely boost the morale of the police force in the district, said an officer.
