Subroto Bagchi Urges People to Stay Prepared for Six Months to Fight Deadly Coronavirus

Bhubaneswar: Even as the suspected cases of Coronavirus growing every day in the country, Subroto Bagchi, chief spokesperson of the Odisha government on COVID-19, advised the people of the State to stay prepared for at least six months to fight the deadly virus.

Addressing a presser here today, Bagchi said staying calm and spreading awareness is the need of the hour.

He also advised people not to believe the rumours and misinformation on Coronavirus.

All the data, information, action taken by the Government against the deadly Coronavirus will be provided everyday at 4.30pm, he further added.

No Coronavirus positive case has been confirmed in the State as all the 22 swab and blood samples collected from coronavirus suspects till Saturday have tested negative.

Meanwhile, as many as 107 persons tested positive for Covid-19 in India.

Two deaths have been reported from the States of Karnataka and Delhi respectively.
