CBSE 10th Class Exams Cancelled, Class 12 Made Optional

New Delhi: In a significant development, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday decided to cancel all the pending board examination for class 10, which were scheduled to start from 1st July 2020.

While for 12th Class students, the exam have been made optional and they will have the choice of either accepting their grades on the basis of internal assessments or to sit in exams at later date,  the CBSE Board informed the Supreme Court today.

The 10th result 2020 will be announced on the basis of Internal Assessment. Students can expect the results to be out by July 15, the CBSE said.
