CM Inaugurates Bridge in Aska, Likely to Boost Communication, Tourism

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated a bridge near Kainphulia Chhak in Aska in Ganjam district replacing bridges constructed in British era.

Speaking on the occasion, he said,“As many as 1000 km road and 30 bridges at a cost of Rs 2,300 crore will be constructed in the state this year.

The bridge will serve as an important link in different parts of the district. It will also boost the communication of more than three and a half million people. Besides, it will also boost tourism sector, he added.

“Building infrastructure is the most important thing for development. So, the government is working hard to develop the infrastructure sector. There is visible development in the construction of roads and bridges. World class infrastructure is being built in tourism spots, etc.

On recent surge in Covid-19 cases, he said, there is a fear of a second wave. So I urge you to abide by Covid guidelines. Wear masks, wash your hands and keep social distance in crowded places.
