“Skilled in Odisha” Now an International Brand

Odisha has been at the forefront of education and research

Bhubaneswar: With the establishment of IIM, IIT, NISER, IISER, AIIMS, NLU and many other Institutions of national importance, Odisha has become an educational hub in the eastern India, said Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today.

Speaking on the occasion of Foundation Stone laying ceremony for infrastructural development of IIM Sambalpur, Patnaik said, Set up in 2015, in just about five years, it has been able to cast its positive impact upon the hierarchy of educational institutions in Odisha.

“Education in Odisha is witnessing a rapid transformation,” Patnaik said.

Government of Odisha accords highest priority to development of Human Resource. The “Skilled in Odisha” has already become an international brand. He added.
Our focus is to train our youth in the latest technology and technical know-how, and to make them market ready as per the demands of Industry 4.0 , the CM said.

The State Government is fully committed to making policy provisions to make Odisha the most preferred Educational Hub in the Country, he added.

Extending support, Patnaik said, “I assure all support to IIM Sambalpur in all its endeavours.”

“I am sure with the support of Prime Minister minister more and more central institutes will come to Odisha and accelerate the growth trajectory of the state”, Patnaik signed off.
